Braden Lam is, apparently, "Nova Scotia's emerging song writing sensation" and, with very little knowledge of the Nova Scotian music scene, who am I to argue? Lam's new single, 'Second Wind', is an atmospheric and delicate track that weaves in influences from the likes of Passenger, Harry Styles and Jamie Yost as the deftly played acoustic notes and soft vocals set the tone perfectly. The song swells and unfolds gradually until a splashing beat, swooning melodies and an abundance of energy overflows in to something pure and uplifting.
