It is always good news when new music from Ben Harper arrives in the world and there's a whole new album coming in June but this new single here as a tasty little entree. 'Love After Love' has a Dylan-esque quality to the guitar playing but Harper's soft, soulful and vulnerable vocal is unmistakable. Warm strings and a gentle beat join in to give this some substance but the key to the beauty of this song is the rawness and purity of emotion which is something that Harper always delivers so this new album looks set to be another great listen.
