LA's Bianca Jazmine will stop you in your tracks with her deeply moving vocals paired with piano melody and if she doesn't then we can't be friends. New single 'Colder Tonight' has a Tori Amos meets Portishead vibe about it as it builds with an unblinking and ominous energy towards a climax that bursts screaming from its cage like a songbird finding its inner dragon. There is a cinematic quality to this one that conjures sweeping landscapes and dark vistas but it is a hugely rewarding listen if you let it wash over you which I strongly urge you to.
