Irish singer-songwriter Rowlette is based in London but that hasn't dampened any of her charm or talent. New single 'Perfect' has a clarity and sadness to it that reminds me of Alanis Morisette as the stunning vocals ring out over sparse instrumentation in the verses which swells to cinematic proportions in the chorus. There is a sense of real regret and loss woven through this song that will stop even the most emotionally stunted listener in their tracks and that, dear reader, is the sign of true talent.
