Okay, Bye - Wasted

Westcountry punks Okay, Bye are dropping new single 'Wasted' this week ahead of a summer of gigs up and down the UK so I'd listen up and listen good if I were you. This track swaggers and struts in with similar energy to early No Doubt when Gwen Stefani was still establishing her voice. The bass sound really pings, the drums are as punchy as any you'll hear this year and the guitars are minimalist in perfect harmony with that bass. Two and a half minutes of angst, energy and melodies - it doesn't get much better than this.
