This is yet another exceedingly good trac from Tom Jenkins coming ahead of a couple of festival appearances in the UK this summer. 'Under The Sun' is an urgent but positive track which leaps out of bed on a sunny Saturday morning with a mission to make the most of the day while the sun is up and the living is good. Jenkins' vocal is the perfect pitch of indie power with elements of Brandon Flowers and Sam Fender chiming through, perfect for crowds to sing along to in the summer sun. As a little treat there's a B-side cover version of 'Blue Beard' by Band of Horses which finds Jenkins in reflective mood, singing out in to the night with a lush but solitary guitar sound.
