Ever creative Scottish artist Malka is back with new single 'Not Alone' and an enthralling video to go along with it. The ambient melodies move like the contents of a lava lamp with hypnotic fluidity before the beat joins in and gives this a kind of Ultravox meets Goldfrapp vibe but with Moloko conducting proceedings from the recording booth. Malka's trademark impish vocals give a sense of hope, of flickering lights in the dark and although this song was written about the struggles against COVID it applies to the current living nightmare in Ukraine where people need all the hope they can get.
