This one is perhaps an acquired taste
but I would urge you to hang in there past the close up recording of a mosquito
and wait for the beat and bassline to drop in. French DJ The Toxic Avenger brings
‘Sorcery’ to the table and, without wanting to fall in to any cliches, it is a
beautiful mix of Air, Daft Punk and Jean Michel Jarre. The layered synths are
almost religious, the bass line is brooding and the beats hit you right in the
gut in the best way possible. A beautiful addition to the world of classical
dance which makes you want to dance but also run away to live in a remote
castle with a princess and paint all day.
