This latest release from Pauli the PSM is more chilled out than the last but it is no less slick or arresting. 'Cowgirl (Creeping' hangs around a simple but soulful keyboard melody with a bare beat and a seductive vocal set intimately low in the mix. It would be easy to label this R'n'B but there's an alt-pop edge and little drum fills that punctuate the air that is thick with distrust, love, lust and desperation which is a heady brew.
