I knew it was out there so it’s a
massive relief to find this track – an anthem for those that don’t want to come
back out of lockdown. Acorn (aka Alexandra Corn) has created ‘Anti-Social’ as a
power-pop sing-along for those that would rather stay home and get to “eating
peanut butter jelly on my couch”. The crunchy guitars, punchy beats and Acorn’s
powerful yet vulnerable vocals are all great packaging but the real gift is the
lyrical content that will resonate with so many people who just shrink
internally when faced with the prospect of going back to making small talk with
strangers in places that they aren’t comfortable in.
