Cornish rockers 50 Year Storm are
back with something a bit different on new single ‘Intravenous’ but it still
hits hard. Starting off with some Queen-esque vocal harmonies over a subtle
keyboard melody, we are then treated to an 80s inspired rock opera chorus with
Royal Blood playing the roles of Bill and Ted going back in time to add a bit
of beef to proceedings. This ambitious, confident and unashamedly theatrical which
is all excellent and points to very good things from this trio if they continue
along this trajectory.
