Chay Snowdon – Loud Shirts

Style icon Chay Snowdon is back
with a new single and it directly addresses one of his favourite fashion
choices (and, to be fair, one of mine as well). ‘Loud Shirts’ comes ahead of a
new EP due out in March and is an absolute banger of an indie anthem. An Arctic
Monkeys rhythm section meets Marc Bolan guitars and Snowdon’s distinctive voice
that has the confident swagger of Liam Gallagher but the personality of an
English Josh Homme. “It’s like a scene out of Project X, The Karma Sutra had
this much context” is a stand-out lyric as they sing of wild, passionate nights
after a few drinks with someone you’ve only just met – an occurrence that’s not
so regular at the moment but we’ll all be discarding our loud shirts on the
floor in the heat of passion soon, you just wait and see.
