Devon duo Moriaty are keeping their
onslaught on the music industry with latest release ‘Shake’, pandemic or no
pandemic. This single is swaggering and bluesy as you expect from these two but
the chorus moves this beyond the Black Keys meets Royal Blood riffage to
something with more nous along the lines of the Cooper Temple Clause or the
Killers at their very best. Moriaty deserve, nay, need a bigger stage which is
ironic considering there are only two of them, but their chops alone need a
drum riser of their own. Not to mention the size of those riffs…
