The luscious duo of Ferris &
Sylvester have not wasted their lockdown months as they’ve been writing,
recording and performing (on video, at distance) fresh new music like this
release. ‘I Should Be on a Train’ blends soulful, folksy, prodding, nudging
verses with balls-out country blues choruses and it is honestly as pure and raw
as music should be. The trademark vocal harmonies and some seriously impressive
blues guitar solo work seal the deal but was there ever any serious doubt? No,
there was not. Another banger and there’s an EP to follow soon too, it feels
likes they’re spoiling us.
