As pigeon holes go, Swedish Death Gospel is a real prize winner and if I were Louise Lemon (which I’m not) I would definitely be getting T-shirts printed up with that on it. Lemon’s new single, ‘Not Enough’, starts gently enough with a loping beat and a subdued keys melody providing a bed for the luscious vocals. The chorus swells with Florence + The Machine sized energy and, yes, the power of a gospel choir forcing the issue home. This would fit in nicely alongside bands like the Gossip and Bang Bang Romeo as well as Adele and Florence Welch which puts this song (and the artist responsible) in to some excellent company.
