FOREVER CULT - SINGLE REVIEW

Forever Cult - Tunnel Vision (Too Pure Singles Club)
Forever Cult - Tunnel Vision

Release Date: 27th November 2015

Leeds trio Forever Cult are back with yet another single release, this time via the acclaimed Too Pure Singles Club off shoot. 'Tunnel Vision' is the latest missive from the Clue Records boys and it starts with a squall of feedback a la Nirvana in their pomp. And then it becomes a banger. A seriously loud, in your face banger. The drums and bass go straight for your ribcage while the guitars and vocals are straight out of the Reuben locker of grunge snarl meets indie-pop melodies and energy. These guys started off as a slow burner for me but now I'm in a full on forest fire and gleefully toasting marshmallows on the chard whiskers of a fox. There's a perfect mix of fun and serious intent behind this tune so you can see why it was selected for the exclusive environs of Too Pure. Well chosen, well chosen indeed.
