Swedish quintet Saigon have a new
single for us - how kind!? 'Exo Exo' is a fairly brutal and unforgiving piece
of electro with a jack hammer bass line and a synth drone the just won't quit. Somewhere
between Gary Newman, the Arcade Fire and Sleigh Bells is where Saigon exist and
there is certainly a place for that kind of music although this is neither
chillout music nor is it seduction tuneage...unless you've already got your
paramour tied up on a gurney with a ball-gag in their mouth. If that's the case
then you're golden.
