F.O.X - SINGLE REVIEW

F.O.X - Her Drug$
F.O.X - Her Drug$

F.O.X stands for Future Of X, is the stage name of one Andre Tyndale and is a sometime collaborator with LWM favourite Rubee Rayne. So far so good. The West London RnBnPop singer is releasing his debut track, 'Her Drug$' ahead of his forthcoming winter EP and it's a gorgeous blend of blissed out, dubby beats, lazy guitars and synth flourishes all topped off with F.O.X's vocals which are at the poppier end of the RnB spectrum with tinges of Michael Jackson about the range of tones. There's a lot more to come from this fella and I will be really interested to hear him get going on some more upbeat stuff for the clubs. As slow jams go, though, this is pretty tasty and with a lyrical message about the danger of girls taking drugs in gangs just to be accepted it's also socially responsible. A 2014 version of the Prodigy's 'Charlie', then.
