Angele feat. Caroline Polachek + Sebastian -
Love Triangle (RCA Records/Sony)
Release Date: Out Now
I feel like I've said enough about Belgian pop princess (in the way Leia was a princess) Angele but then she goes and drops another supercharged banger and I have to come back for me. Along with Caroline Polachek and Sebastian, Angele has created 'Love Triangle' - a song made from digital eels and the kind of bass sound that can only foretell of bad tidings. There is an increasingly industrial and dystopian vibe to Angele's music and this latest release is no exception as the synths slide and slither into your mind before plugging the beat straight into your hips. The breathy and hypnotic vocals are designed to keep you distracted while your data is harvested but you will never know or mind, you just keep dancing.
