Mie is the stage name of Milwaukee artist Maggie Schmidt and new single 'Freakshow' is truly something of an experience. The broken music box melody at the start is the perfect intro to a spooky vocal before we settle into a full on rock'n'roll stomper that drives and surges in all the right places. Mie's vocal's are the perfect blend of siren seduction and a devilish ring mistress at some sort of legally dubious circus. Definitely a talent worth keeping an eye and ear on (also worth checking out the video when it's released).
