All hail the return of Jamie Lenman, just when we need someone to shut down the rising idiocy of society and switch off the megaphones strapped to their mouths. Musically, 'You're Nothing' is straight up punk with squalling guitars and nail gun drums but that is only a small part of the story. As usual, Lenman's lyrics and vocals steal the show with a rage spitting voice delivering lines like "you're the whole in the fucking doughnut, the centre of the ring. You're the 'O' in Zero, 'cause yeah you don't mean a thing". For all the keyboard warriors and right wing bigots spewing fear and hate into the world, this one's for you.
