The gang's new single, 'Sirens Call My Name' starts as a lo-fi garage romance track but the great thing about the Hen Hoose Collective is you never know what's coming next. Some scattered flute notes, an uplifting punky energy, a nod to David Bowie and Roxy Music, and some cinematic strings all add to the sound of a group of friends making a riotously life-affirming noise. There's a whole album of collaborative songs coming soon so put your special trousers on and lets embrace the tsunami of creativity....if you can embrace a tsunami which I don't think you can...or should.
