This is the third single I've reviewed in 2025 from Malmo's Royal Republic as they've explored a range of cover versions as part of their Blastbeaters era, and this time they're taking on the Village People/Pet Shop Boys classic, 'Go West'. The quartet give this one the full Queen treatment with screaming guitars, wonderful vocal harmonies and a firm grasp of the campness that makes this song such a long lasting anthem. Superb as always, brilliantly and unashamedly grandiose and a whole lot of fun.
