Ever impressive Irish singer-songwriter Kate Prendergast has popped with another new release in the form of new single 'Retold Tale'. Elton John-esque piano notes create a sombre but powerful tone before the vocals go all Joni Mitchell if she had grown up in Ireland. As the song grows and swells with strings, splashing drums and a real sense of grandeur that Lana Del Rey would be proud of it's hard to imagine that Prendergast's talent won't reach out beyond her corner of the world very soon. Stunning stuff.
