There's an instant Clockwork Orange meets Kraftwerk vibe to the dissonant introductory synth notes on this latest release from the Queen's Head and you'd expect nothing less from a song called 'Hell'. The doomy, menacing vocals and persistent beat only add to the aesthetic but then there's lightness in the pinch-bending chorus for a moment before Satan and his minions get back to tickling your inner ears while you watch an endless stream of reality TV shows all mixed up and out of order. Brilliantly insane music but all the more essential because of it.
