So 'Neon Genius' is the new single from Spanish artist Raissa and she has collaborated with Rahim Redcar who used to be known as Christine and the Queens which is all a little confusing but if you focus on the music then all will be well. A playful synth melody and bass line is matched with Raissa's sultry but confident vocal sounding liken an urban siren tempting you into the bars and clubs. The whole song is a fun experience but delivered with such poise and panache that it leaves you slightly discombobulated and, well, we all need a little discombobulation from time to time don't we?
