There are times of year, when you put away the garden furniture or block up that drafty window with tape and old rags, that you want a bit of comfort and, luckily for us, Maple Ward is here with just that comfort. The singer-songwriter's new single 'When You Leave' is a gently plucked acoustic dream accompanied by a mournful string sound and all woven together by Ward's warm, folky vocal.
