With a debut album on the way this September, exceptional sextet Deadletter are heading out on the road and teasing us with a new single so there's plenty to get excited about. 'Relieved' rattles in with a pleasing beat and Mud Honey-esque blast on the sax before the band hit their stride with a funky, indie, slightly Madness inspired romp. The semi-spoken vocals add an Ian Dury and the Blockheads vibe and then the chorus goes full swagger in a manner only rivaled by Tankus the Henge among their contemporaries. Unique, thrilling and very moreish - an intoxicating combination.
