The unrelenting Frank Turner juggernaut rolls on with another (10th, indeed) album just around the corner and this new single as a warning shot. 'Letters' kicks hard and fast from the get go with that beautiful mix of punk and folk all woven together with hooks and melodies. Turner's vocals are as recognisable as ever, delivered with breathless desperation over a gurning and churning bass line and frantically played drums. As powerful and as brilliant as ever. I'd say welcome back but I don't think Turner has ever been away. He never rests.
