One more treat from one of the breakout bands of 2023 before we all get swept away under a tidal wave of festive tuneage. Big Special give us 'Trees' bristles and throbs with 80s synth energy mixed with the street smarts of Mike Skinner and the vocal delivery of Joe Talbot but Big Special are way more than the sum of their parts. They are cold nights on the top of the bus, they are counting your wages to see what you can afford to do this weekend, they are chasing a dream when it's too cold to sleep and they are thinking big when all those around them are just binge watching I'm a Celebrity.
