Call me prejudiced but there was something about the name Amber T and the artwork for this release that made me fully expect this to be a 90s pop throwback. However, 'Sugar & Spice' comes in hard with pounding drums and squalling guitars before Amber T's vocals join in, breathlessly keeping up the pace in a night time joyride through the neon city streets. Sure, there are 90s flavours here but we're talking Bush more than B*witched and that's the kind of throwback I'm here for - all day, every day.
