The Joe Tatton Trio is a loose title for a collective that, on this track, also features the Haggis Horns and Spanish guitarist Lucas De Mulder but that's just me splitting hairs. The fact is that 'How We Get There' is a gorgeous instrumental slice of jazz-funk with cameo roles played by some lush organ, manic flute and the aforementioned guitar atop a steady, shuffling beat. This is a tune tailor made for cinema or your running playlist if you want to pretend you're trying to get away from a dodgy cop in downtown New York - just don't go sliding across any cars in your enthusiasm.
