THE HU - SINGLE REVIEW

The HU - Sell The World (Better Noise Music)

Release Date: Out Now

I love a song with passion and a message but it's a tough listen when the message is that we (humans) are rapidly killing our planet fueled by greed above all else. Mongolian horde the HU bring intense new single 'Sell The World' to the table and it is one hell of a record but when you couple it with the brutally animated video then this becomes something truly special indeed. Swampy, dirgy guitars with an ominous twang get us underway before the slab of drums hits you about the head and the gravelly vocals stare you dead in the eyes. The slither and zither of the strings add a cinematic sheen to proceedings but even if you're not fluent in their native tongue, you can tell that nothing good will come of this song and the video leaves you in no doubt (and with little hope for the future). Then again, the HU are UNESCO artists of peace for 2023 so maybe, just maybe, they are our last hope.
