SORCHA RICHARDSON - SINGLE REVIEW

Sorcha Richardson - Map of Manhattan

Release Date: Out Now

Dubliner Sorcha Richardson is about to embark on a US tour so it's fitting that she's releasing 'Map of Manhattan' as her new single. Woozy, almost subdued melodies are kept going with a pulsating bass line and sparse but steady beat that will play very well with Lo-Fi fans in cool bars in places like Detroit and Chicago. Then there's the voice, Richardson possesses the kind of effortlessly cool vocals that remind me of the likes of Seaker or Tracy Thorn in the best possible way which kind of seals the deal. Bon voyage to America but don't stay away too soon.
