This is the second single from solo artist Mega that I've had the pleasure of reviewing and, if possible, this one surpasses the last. 'Let You Down' pairs Mega's undeniably soulful and rich vocal with a simple acoustic melody and a slowly swelling melody that wraps you up in its arms to make you feel safe and loved. I can't put my finger on it but for some reason this song makes me think of Bob Marley and that might be because of how honestly delivered the song is but also how wholesome the energy behind it makes you feel. Pop this one on when you're feeling down and I promise it will give you something to hold on to and build from. Good for the soul.
