I don't use the word 'kooky' lightly but Maple Glider is wonderfully kooky in all of the best possible ways. The deadpan but soft vocals lure you in like a Tennis song while the warm guitars chug and sway in the background to create a sweet and thoroughly alluring song. If you then take in to account the video which features some bold fashion choices, a pink microphone and an exercise bike in some unusual locations then you have a big old bowl of kooky and I, for one, couldn't be happier.
