Dublin's Still Blue have 'Lace' on offer for your listening pleasure and it is an impish delight with delicate features. The trio have a fine line in indie-pop that is full of charm and whimsy but also driving rhythms and chiming guitars to die for. There's a 90s influence here that takes in bands like Echobelly and Lush but also has clearly listened to US bands of the era like Belly and Veruca Salt which gives the charm a sharp edge that feels great when combined with the sweet vocals. Joyous stuff.
