The irascible Meryl Streek is back with intense new single 'If This Is Life' and if you're not already a fan then this might do a trick. Taking Undertones-esque riffs and matching them with spittingly angry vocals makes for an invigorating listen but when you underpin it with a lo-fi processed beat set at a high tempo then you can't help but be swept up in the energy, the urgency and the raw truth of it all. Meryl Streek is one of those essential artists who comes along stirs things up every once in a while and for that, if nothing else, we should all be incredible thankful.
