FREYA BEER - SINGLE REVIEW

Freya Beer - Fantasy/Galore

Release Date: Out Now

The 90s energy and strong rock'n'roll vibes on this release from Freya Beer are almost too much to handle but handle them I will, all in the name of sharing great music. 'Fantasy' is the first part of this double A-side release which chugs and grunts like a Queens of the Stone Age track but with interspersed femme-fatale vocals giving this a parallel universe vibe where Elastica were fronted by Sophie Ellis-Bexter who was in more rebellious form. On 'Galore', Beer slows things down a bit for a more slinky, sultry sound that builds in to a song that preens and struts with true rock'n'roll flair while the crowd looking on in raptures.
