Atmosphere are hailed as the kings of indie hip-hop in their PR blurb and that may well be true but all I can say is their new single is a trip. 'Okay' is a laid back hip-hop vibe that sits between a Tribe Called Quest and Len with a fluid flow and the kind of simple melody that would work on a Motown ballad just as well as it does here. The message is positive and reassuring but the video is, well, it's worth paying attention to, that's all I'm going to say. Kings or just dukes, it doesn't matter to me - Atmosphere are A-Okay by me. More please.
