COLOUR TV - SINGLE REVIEW

Colour TV - Christopher's Halo

Release Date: Out Now

Cornish Indie rockers Colour TV continue their ascent with a string of UK dates and a new single to boot so this really is your last chance to get in on the ground floor. 'Christopher's Halo' sets a rattling pace with an urgent bass line and driving drums acting as the perfect foil for the delicately searing guitars and flamboyant vocals. This is easily the band's most powerful track yet as the influences of the likes of the Smiths and the Killers are matched by Joy Division's moodiness and hints of the Skids, the Cure and even the Cooper Temple Clause. By far one of the best bands around at the moment and, considering the sharp incline of their ascent, there are plenty of others who agree with me.
