Canadian art-punkers Crones aren't messing around on new single 'Big Head Baby' which starts with an aggressively playful and low slung bass line and soon explodes in to a garage punk song par excellence. Slathered organs, pounding drums and fuzzed up guitars are stitched together with 'Song 2' inspired "whoo-hoos" and vocals akin to Jonathan Fire*eater or the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion. It's a ride that doesn't let up and nor should you want it to if you know what's good for you.
