Wooze - Cowardly Custard (Young Poet)

I recommended Wooze to a friend recently and they immediately got it - I love it when that happens. The eccentric duo are back with yet another new single in the shape of 'Cowardly Custard' and it is yet another banger. Industrial disco beats and bass go from 0-60 in the opening bars before a searing guitar line and that trademark low slung vocal get on board for the ride. If Soulwax and LCD Soundsystem travelled back in a DJ booth time machine to produce the likes of Roxy Music, Spandau Ballet and Duran Duran then they would sound like Wooze but we don't need any of that tomfoolery - we have the real thing here and now.....although it wouldn't surpirse me to find out that they were time travellers or aliens.
