North East duo Nalgo Bay are something a little bit different and that is always welcome here at Listen With Monger. The pair's new single 'Taxi' starts with soulful vocals and a lounge piano melody but that soon gives way to a frantic, raw, garage riff and this song takes flight. The kitchen sink drama lyrics, impressive vocals and raw but urgent musicianship sounds like a mix of Arctic Monkeys performing a Long Blondes composition with Amy Winehouse on vocal duties and it's an intoxicating mix. Bloody love it, more please.
