Londoners Deadletter have emerged from a bleak and seemingly endless winter with new single 'Binge' and it is a little bit special. An itchy beat is joined by twitchy guitars and tourettes-esque saxophone blasts before the bass line weaves in to the gaps and makes sense of it all. The vocals jump in like Bez joining in with a skipping competition but it works and it is glorious. Imagine LIFE or Fontaines D.C. doing a Talking Heads cover with a young Kasabian running the mixing desk and rolling spliffs. Deadletter are hotly tipped and rightly so, they've got all the right ingredients to make special music.
