I bloody love the Subways, even though this press shot looks like the launch of an edgy new daytime morning show on ITV where they discuss housewives micro dosing and swinging being on the rise in Swindon. Anyway, the trio's new single, 'Love Waiting On You', leans more heavily on their indie-pop tendancies than their rock roots which shows off a different side to the band. The melodious chorus is a really hooky earworm that is perfect for bouncing summer crowds but it's the choppy, 90s guitars and crisp, clean vocals (with harmonies, to boot) that really get under your skin. And now, over to the kitchen for an exciting new take on hash cakes.....
