Phoenix duo Snailmate (great name, btw) aren't messing around on new single 'It's coming Back' as the lo-fi synths throb in time with the urgent beats allowing the vocals to twitch nervously along the top. When the chorus errupts, you can't help but get caught up in the madness of a track full of anxiety, panic and urgency. It's a niche reference but if anyone came across underrated duo One Man Team Dance back in the day then this will resonate but there are also elements of System of a Down, Ben Folds Five and Robocobra Quartet to  contend with which makes this all the more enjoyable. Outstanding work.
