Toronto's Juliana Eye brings new single 'Wasted Youth' out in to the world and it brings a brilliant 80s energy along with it. There's more than a little LadyHawke to this one but Eye's vocal is steely cool and uber-stylish albeit dripping in nostalgia and tinged with regret. The track bounces and bobs along brilliantly mixing that lyrical sadness with the perkiest of melodies and you wouldn't be at all surprised to hear this on the soundtrack of a Netflix movie in the not too distant futre.
