Northern Ireland's Lauren Ann has gone all dream dreamy shoegaze-grunge-pop on new single 'Lucy' and that is not an easy trick to pull off. With slacker beats, low slung guitars and dead-eyed vocals, Lauren Ann operates in a space between Courtney Love and Lauran Hibberd. This is also a space that is somewhere in the back corner of a bar looking on with angrily jealous eyes whilst idly stirring a Jack and Coke with a toothpick.
