Einsam - At Eye Level

I don't really like to use the word quirky in describing music but there is something decidedly 'off-beat' about this new release from solo project Einsam. 'At Eye Level' takes elements of New Order, Hot Chip, the Killers and LCD Soundsystem with a Soulwax production element and a cold-hearted sense of introspection. The pulsing synths, the driving drums and deadpan vocals are all punctuated by some hectic guitar playing to make for an intense but enthralling listen and one that promises great things from future releases too.
